New Name. Same Mission.

Over the past 70 years, our work has grown far beyond what many people think of as a traditional animal welfare organization. Today, we provide affordable veterinary care, sheltering and adoption services, community outreach, pet retention programs, emergency assistance, and partnerships that help pets and people across Alaska. 

 

Our new name—Alaska PAWS (Alaska Partners for Animal Welfare & Safety)—better reflects who we are today and the work we will continue to do for years to come.
