*New* Way to Help: Rural Outreach Fund

By traveling to underserved and rural areas, Alaska SPCA makes spay/neuter services accessible to pet owners who face geographic, financial, or logistical barriers to care.

For families on tight budgets or living far from veterinary providers, our mobile clinics are more than a convenience—they’re a lifeline.

Rural mobile outreaches carry the highest cost for Alaska SPCA, but lack of access to affordable and compassionate care is too pivotal to ignore

In response, we’ve created the Rural Outreach Fund. This is a restricted fund, dedicated to helping with the costs to bring life-saving veterinary care to the communities who need it most.

About the Fund

The Rural Outreach Fund is a restricted donation fund established to support no-cost and low-cost spay/neuter services in rural and underserved communities across Alaska.

Donations to this fund are used to offset costs associated with planning, travel, staffing, equipment, and service delivery for outreach clinics conducted by the organization’s veterinary and support teams.

The goal of the fund is to:

  • Reduce barriers to veterinary care in rural Alaska

  • Improve animal welfare

  • Support sustainable population control efforts in communities with limited access to spay/neuter services

Donor Need-to-Knows

The Rural Outreach Fund is a restricted fund designated solely for rural mobile outreach activities.

Important donor information:

  • While the organization may fundraise for and promote specific outreach trips, donations made to the Rural Outreach Fund cannot be directed or earmarked for a specific community, village, or trip.

  • The minimum donation to the Rural Outreach Fund is $500. Donations below this amount may be redirected to the organization’s general fund unless otherwise specified.

  • All donations flow into the Rural Outreach Fund and are applied to outreach costs as they arise, based on operational need and scheduling.

  • This structure ensures flexibility, compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, and the ability to respond to changing travel and logistical realities in rural Alaska.

  • Donations are accepted year-round, regardless of whether a specific outreach trip is currently being promoted.

Il m’arrive de tester de nouvelles plateformes juste pour voir comment elles fonctionnent. Hier j’ai regardé 1winz.com.ci et j’ai trouvé l’organisation assez logique. Les menus sont faciles à comprendre.
