• AK SPCA Thrift Shop has TWO full-time Cashier/Sorter positions available
We are looking for two FT Cashier/Sorters to help us meet the growing demands of our popular Thrift Shop. Applicants must have a pleasant attitude and the ability to work individually and as part of a team, and be reliable, honest, committed, and hard-working. Retail/customer service experience preferred, but not mandatory.
This individual will learn and do it all – receiving donations, sorting, pricing, cashiering, serving customers, arranging displays, helping with donation pick-ups, admin work, helping care for our Thrift Shop cats, and helping the manager with special events and projects.
Must appreciate teamwork with other staff and volunteers. For the right person, this full-time permanent position has strong growth potential.
Must be able to accommodate store hours – 11 to 7 Mon-Sat. Must have valid ADL, be drug-free and pass a background check. To apply, please deliver resumes in person to the Thrift Shop, 549 W. International Airport Road (next to Guido’s Restaurant).
